Starting from the Gite’s doorstep the local countryside can be explored on foot or bicycle using the many marked walkways and footpaths. Alternatively you can join in the  'randonnees' organised throughout the summer by the tourist office and usually offering a picnic lunch. From our village you can also follow the historical walk of the famous French writer Eugene Le Roy.
Canoe / Kayak trips of various distances can be taken down the gentle flowing Auvezere river from Chevais Cubas, 10 minutes away.
The beach resort at lake Rouffiac offers various activities for all ages of the family and also has it’s own teleski wake cable park for water skiing and wakeboarding. Etang du Coucou 5 minutes away also offers swimming and an Aqua water park.
Another great day out can be had at the Tree Acrobranch park near  to Thenon.
The town of Excideuil offers a newly built 9 hole golf course and a centre for rock climbing & potholing.
